Stockholm & Copenhagen, 25 January 2017 – Pro Optix, a leading provider of core to edge fiber optical connectivity solutions, announces the opening of a new office in Copenhagen, Denmark. The step has been taken to ensure Danish customers can be provided with a high level of service and is the first step for Pro Optix to expand its presence across the bridge in to Europe.
Tom Nordin, CEO at Pro Optix, commented: “High value customer service is a priority at Pro Optix, and to achieve this in Denmark we needed to have local resources. Pro Optix have a local presence in Malmö, but from now on we have an official Denmark entity, and importantly strong focus in Denmark”.
The Pro Optix Denmark office will be led by Allan Smith, former CEO of Alcadon / MRV, who comes with extensive fiber optical solutions expertise and business development experience.
Allan, newly appointed Denmark Country Manager at Pro Optix, commented: “To get involved and drive Pro Optix into Denmark was a straight forwards decision. I was immediately impressed with the quality of the team, the expertise and product due-diligence, and importantly the aim to be the customers number one partner of choice. High levels of service and delivering beyond the customer’s expectation has long been my philosophy. I am excited about the opportunity.”
Founded in 2010, the company provides a portfolio of optical transceivers, fiber cabling, wavelength multiplexers, media convertors, and testing and measurement instrumentation for the European fiber market. Pro Optix was awarded the Super Company status by Veckans Affärer in 2015 and 2016, and the fastest growing company award by Gazelle in 2016.
