High-Performance 100G Optical Transceivers

QSFP28 Optical Transceivers

 

QSFP28 is designed to retain the small form factor of its predecessors QSFP and QSFP+ while improving upon them by achieving 100Gbps data rates. With a built in CWDM mux or an 8 fiber MPO solution it uses 4 channels of 28Gbps and has quickly become the standard interface choice for 100G applications. The QSFP28 can be found in several different configurations with a reach ranging from 100m using OM4 to 40km using OS2 as well as active optical cables and breakout cables.
